Skills Support for Young People

The Skills Support for Young People project (SSYP) is skills funding for young people aged 16-18, who are living or working in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It is funded by the European Social Fund.

Skills Support for Young People encourages workplace progression and aims to enrich a young person's learning journey. Each young person's training will be individually tailored to suit the needs of them and their employer, this could be additional units of a qualification, or a Level 1 qualification to compliment their work.

Whilst on programme, young people will have support and mentoring from their Key Worker, who will help provide information, advice and guidance.
