Current Position: Intermediate Apprentice in Motor Vehicle with Cornwall Community Action Network, a social enterprise company that helps young people get started in work, build their skills, and move on to further employment.
Types of Employment/Apprenticeship I’m looking for, and what I hope to get from it:
I would like to be employed in a mainstream garage as this offers a large variety of skills and avenues to learn.
What I can offer an employer:
I will always try my best and I feel I am hard working and devoted.
Skills and abilities (what I’ve learnt, what I can do):
I have learnt to change over brakes, clutches and cables. I have been working on tracking, balancing, tyre changing and puncture repairs.
General Employment Skills (attitude, commitment, personal qualities, timekeeping, reliability, etc.):
I am easy to get along with and committed to whatever job I am doing. I feel I am very reliable.
Work Experience (any work done, employment, projects/training, voluntary work, where):
1 week’s work experience with Merseyside Police Force. Sales Assistant in a furnishing store. Pool Lifeguarding – 6 Weeks.
Qualifications, units & certificates achieved:
GCSE Maths (B), English (B), Media (C), Science (C), ICT (C), Design Technology (B), First Aid at Work, Pool Lifeguarding.
