Current Position: Intermediate Apprentice in Motor Vehicle with Cornwall Community Action Network, a social enterprise company that helps young people get started in work, build their skills, and move on to further employment.
Types of Employment/Apprenticeship I’m looking for, and what I hope to get from it:
I am Looking for a Motor vehicle apprenticeship - and ideally I would like to work with both cars and motorcycles.
What I can offer an employer:
I am always on time and I am hardworking and do the best I can at all times.
Skills and abilities (what I’ve learnt, what I can do):
I can change brakes, clutch cables and tyres. I can do tracking, and balancing, and adjust the clutch pedals after changing the clutch cables. I can do pre-mots and weekly services, change oil filters and deal with tyre punctures.
General Employment Skills ( attitude, commitment, personal qualities, timekeeping, reliability, etc.):
I am the sort of person that will get on with everyone that I meet and I have a good sense of humour. I feel my timekeeping is excellent.
Work Experience (any work done, employment, projects/training, voluntary work, where):
I have had some experience working on the retail side of the motor vehicle industry.
Qualifications, units & certificates achieved:
GCSE Maths (C), English (C), Science (B), Additional Science (B).
