Recruitment and Placing

DMT offers a range of recruitment and placing services to help employers find the right candidates for their vacancies while reducing the costs and risks of recruitment.

We can:

  • advertise your employment opportunities free of charge on this website, on the national Apprenticeship Vacancy website and with referral organisations to access a wide range of candidates;
  • identify potentially suitable candidates already in training / registering interest with us;
  • provide free screening and matching services to identify candidates who could meet your job requirements;
  • identify funding for training and support that could help candidates with potential to meet your recruitment standard;
  • organise work trials and placements and up-front skills training for eligible candidates you think could be suitable to ensure the match is right before you employ;
  • check eligibility and arrange fully funded or subsidised in-work training for successful candidates.

Just contact us to discuss your needs.

And why not have a look at the Find Staff section to see what currently available candidates have to offer?

Here's what some employers have to say:

 "I have always been very pleased with the level of communication we have with DMT; the apprentices we employ have come to us with enough knowledge and experience to be able to work with them, developing their skills to become an important part of the team."

Stuart Hayward, Hi Q Tyre Services

"With the support and training provided by DMT, David is now qualified as a level 2 Motor Vehicle fitter. My level of confidance in him is such that I'm now happy to leave him in charge of the workshop."

John Richards, Saab Motors

"I have been working with DMT for some time and have employed several apprentices as well as staff who have achieved NVQs. The assessors set up the qualifications in a user-friendly way and the training is of a very high standard."

John Warn, John Warn Building

"I have used recruitment agencies in the past, and been very disappointed when agency staff haven't been reliable or had the most basic of skills in painting and decorating. I know that when DMT recommends an Apprentice that they really know the young person and their level of knowledge and skills. Apprentices come to me with a good work ethic and I'm informed of exactly what they have learned and what their skill level is."

Richard Jones, IHS Decorators
